Uriah departed us and this world, unexpectedly as a result of a work place accident, on November 14, 2024. He was born in Circleville, OH on May 29,2001. He was doing what he loved with his co-workers he loved. Uriah was a handsome young man that always possessed a welcoming smile. With his heart of gold and compassion he willingly would be anyone’s right hand man. As a child, Uriah, full of life always laughed, loved playing outside on the farm, and was as ornery as they come. Uriah loved spending time with his Dad and family in Kentucky, riding horses, taking care of animals and quality time with siblings. He loved shopping trips, vacations, and spending time with his mamaw. His cherished time was on the farm with his papaw, shooting guns, harvesting pumpkins and talks on the front porch. Uriah attended Crossroads Christian Academy and graduated from Logan Elm High School in 2019. Following graduation Uriah’s chosen path was to work in the welding industry. He gained employment that provided an opportunity to see many parts of the United States. He worked along side his father, Shannon in New Mexico, Alabama, Georgia and many other states. They were able to share numerous adventures. In 2023 he began working as an Apprentice with Sheet Metal Local 24. His written goal was to become the best employee they had. Uriah faced life head on no matter the joys, failures or obstacles. He continued to face each day ready to live life to the fullest. Uriah adored family and family traditions. He greatly anticipated family gatherings. Especially Thanksgiving and Christmas. No matter where he was, Uriah made a point to be home to cut down the annual Christmas tree, a tradition started many years prior. He would mention no matter where he was, he would be home for it, and he was. Uriah knows and loves God. From a young age he attended Church, was involved in youth group at both Community United Methodist and Crossroads and was a member of FCA. We know Uriah is with Him and those previously departed watching over us. His infectious smile, beautiful eyes and kindness to others are cherished memories to last forever. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Elijah and Ireta Brown, Charles and Frances Brown, Margaret and Forrest Phillips, Naomi and Claude Cox, and Karen Pennington; aunts, Donna Roy, and Carol Brown and uncle, Dan Phillips.
