Vickie Anderson

Mrs. Vickie Lin (Pickell) Anderson, of Laurelville, Ohio departed this world in her home after an extended illness on March 15, 2025, with her beloved husband, Delbert, by her side.

Vickie arrived in this world on July 27, 1952, in Columbus, Ohio to William and Marie (Armentrout) Pickell. She was joined in matrimony with Delbert Anderson on November 3, 1972.

Vickie was preceded in death by her mother and father, her sisters, Shirley (William) Cradlebaugh, Katie (Richard) Leach, and Annabelle Pickell; her brother, John; and brothers-in-law George Hunter, Emerson Haddox, and Stanley Danner; and sisters-in-law Ruth Pickell and Elsie Pickell.

She is survived by her husband, Delbert, daughter Beverly (Bryan) Carter of Piketon, son Jacob (Sara) Anderson of Newark, granddaughters Abigail and Ashley Carter, grandsons William and Phillip Anderson and Austin Novak. Her sisters: Betty Hunter, Barbara Haddox, and Sharon Danner; and brothers William, Robert, and Jimmy (Mildred); sister-in-law, Suzie Pickell, and many friends, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Her family would like to give a special thank you to her caregivers over the past few years, including hospital staff, home health staff, primary care staff, and hospice. Your kindness and care have helped us through this very difficult time. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville.
