Vickie Sue Imler, 51, of Circleville, went home to be with the Lord after losing a courageous battle to cancer on November 16, 2009. She was born June 24, 1958 in Circleville, the daughter of Marvin and Dolly (Weaver) Thompson. She graduated in 1976 from Westfall High School and retired from Pickaway County Job and Family Services as a case worker. She enjoyed many things with friends and family that include mushroom hunting, thrifting, antiquing, riding motorcycles, vacationing, planning parties and the spirit of Christmas. She is survived by her parents who she loved so much; loving husband, Dwight Imler; devoted mother to her only son, Joshua David Kellough of Circleville; granddaughter, Claudia Davis Kellough; grandson Austen Michael Righman; sisters, Debbie (Ron) Fraley of Circleville, Shirley (Ralph) Smith of Stoutsville; brother, Bradley (Dawn) Thompson of Williamsport; sister-in-law Donna (Paul) Calder of Circleville; extended family, brother Alejandro (Clara) Garces of Columbia; sister Debbie (John) Krahn-Thrasher of England; several nephews and nieces that were near and dear to her heart and the many friends which she shared so many great memories with. Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday November 19, 2009 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Pastor Ted Davis officiating. Burial will be in Reber Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Berger Hospice and St. Johns Church , Stoutsville.
