Virgil Phillips

Virgil B. Phillips, 78, of Laurelville, died on Thursday, July 3, 2014. He was born on June 18, 1936 in Dayton to Edgar and Juanita (Woodgeard) Phillips. Virgil was a Navy Veteran. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Henrietta (Gibbs) Phillips and one brother, Rich Phillips. Virgil is survived by his children Tonya (Charlie) Seymour, Ronnie (Tracy) and Doug Phillips, eleven grandchildren, 8, with one on the way, great grandchildren, sister, Darlene Alltop and brothers, Wayne and Dale Phillips. Friends may call at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville on Monday, July 7, 2014 from 4-6 p.m. with funeral service at 6 p.m. with Henry Adams officiating. Cremation will follow.
