Virginia Smales

Virginia L. Smales, 86, of Circleville, formerly of Columbus, died January 9, 2015 at Logan Elm Health Care. She was born January 5, 1929 in Springfield, MO the daughter of Clay and Laurine (Spicer) Luce. She was preceded in death by her parents; step father, Denny Foster; husband, Donald L. Smales; son, Daniel W. Smales; grandson, Scott Smales; brother, Gene Luce and sister, Charoline Ferree. Virginia is survived by her children, John M. (Kelly) Smales, Susan L. (Kenny) Keller and Sam J. (Kerri) Smales; grandchildren, Erin, Kristin, Kaci, Aubrey, Austin, Anna, Shane and Kilea; 3 great-granchildren, Dalton, Hailey and Madison; brother, Max Luce and sister, June Beasley. Funeral service will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday January 11, 2015 at Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Chaplain Dean Queen officiating. Cremation to follow. Friends may call from 2-4 Sunday.
