Walter Jones Jr

Walter “Jonesy” Jones Jr., 90, of Circleville passed away on Monday, April 6, 2015. He was born on January 24, 1925 in Pickaway County to Walter and Pauline (Hazelwood) Jones Sr. He ran Sohio Gas Station for 30 plus years. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda (Spradlin) Jones, siblings; Loretta Phifer, Betty Jones and Bobby E. Jones. “Jonesy” is survived by his son, Jason Jones of Circleville, 2 brothers; Billy (Gloria) Jones of Dayton, Kenny (Diane) Jones of New York, 2 sisters; Charlotte (Paul) Hill of Circleville, Phyllis Walker of Circleville, brother-in-law; Gary Phifer of Circleville and by many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 10, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Wellman Funeral Home with burial to follow in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. and again on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
