Walter Palmer

Walter Roy Palmer, 83, of Circleville, died February 7, 2014 at Berger Hospital. He was born September 22, 1930 in Adelphi the son of Walter and Mabel (Huffman) Palmer. He was a U.S. Army veteran, owned and operated BP Oil and recently had worked at Wal Mart. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Doris Mae (Moats) Palmer, son Kenneth Palmer and grandson Kyle Smith. Roy is survived by his children Ginger (Jerry) Steele of Circleville, Ron (Vicki) and Dave (Ginger) Palmer both of Kingston, daughter-in-law Margret Palmer of Circleville, grandchildren Andy Woolever, Jimmy Palmer, Kristina Morris, Keith Palmer, Jamie Marlow, Nikki Trusty and Chad Steele, 14 great grandchildren and several brothers and sisters. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday February 12, 2014 at Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating. Burial will be in Meade Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday.
