Walter Stratton

Walter D. Stratton, 79, of Washington C.H. passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2011. He was born on September 27, 1932 in Fayette County to Clarence and Inez (Johnson) Stratton. Mr. Stratton, a member of Heritage Church, was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Earl, Harold, Robert and Richard Stratton and by one sister, Doris Stratton.
Mr. Stratton is survived by his wife, Beatrice Stratton of Washington C.H., children, Teresa (Gary) Kinzer of Washington C.H., Kristal (Robert) Humphrey of Oxford, four grandchildren, Jeremy (Denny) Smith, Joni Merritt, Christopher and Nicholas Humphrey, four great grandchildren, Kayli and Gage Walter Merritt, Shasta and Dakota Shadley and by special lifelong friends, Norman Underwood and Jim Emerick.
Funeral services for Mr. Stratton will be held on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. in the Wellman-Kinzer Funeral Home with burial to follow in Washington Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
