Wesley Barton

Wesley J. Barton, 82, of Circleville passed away on November 23, 2016. He was born on June 7, 1934 in Ashville to John and Bessie (Gillenwater) Barton. Wesley served in the Air National Guard, had worked for Circleville Police Department and Department of Human Services and was a member of First Church of Christ in Christian Union. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by daughter-in-law; Cindy (McFarland) Barton, sisters; Dorothy Hoffman, Mary Bowman and Virginia Huffman and by brothers Arthur and Donald Barton. Wesley is survived by his wife; Evelyn (Oliver) Barton, children; Donald, Wesley (Judi Welsh),Frederick, Cheryl and Bryan (Gladys) Barton, 14 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, brother; Lloyd (Janet) Barton and by numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 28, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Church of Christ in Christian Union with Pastor Jay Neff and Urban Adams officiating.
