Wheeler Rittinger, 82, of Circleville, died January 3, 2010 at his residence. He was born November 27, 1927 in Commerical Point, the son of the late Roy and Amy (Williams) Rittinger. He was a lifelong farmer, avid tractor puller for 55 years and a I H collector. He is survived by his wife, Normagene (Wright) Rittinger; sons, Steve (Sonnie) Rittinger of Amanda and Michael (Connie) Rittinger of Circleville; 3 grandchildren, Laura (Dennis) Corcoran, Sean (Rachel) Rittinger and Elizabeth (Nelson) Huff; 6 great grandchildren; brothers, Marvin (Janice) and Charles (Ewen) Rittinger and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday January 6, 2010 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Berger Hospice.
