William (Bill) Junior Bresler, 58, of Stoutsville, left this life unexpectedly as a result of a farming accident on Monday, June 22, 2009, in Pickaway County. He was born February 16, 1951 in Circleville, the son of William and Rose (Winegardner) Bresler. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers-in-law, Richard Bussert and Dan Wolfe and father-in-law, Gail Leist. He is survived by his wife, (of almost 40 years) Carolyn (Leist) Bresler; sons, Bryan (Tricia) Bresler and Chad Bresler; grandchildren, Morgan and Jacob and their mother, Tammy; sister, Mary Alice Bussert; mother-in-law, Mildred Leist; sister-in-law, Susie Wolfe Williamson; nieces and nephews, Gary (Joni) Bussert, Anita (Steve) Foster, Lynn (Scott) Cooperrider, Pam (Pat) Covell, Paula (Max) Covell, Shawntina (Jim) Greenlee, Tyler (Ursula) Wolfe and Shelisha (Dave) Brode and his faithful dogs, Perry and Chrissie. Bill was deeply rooted in both Pickaway and Fairfield Counties. He attended high school at Circleville and Amanda Clearcreek. Bill joined his late father, William, in the family business, Circleville Realty, in 1973. Upon the sudden passing of his father, Bill obtained his Real Estate Broker’s license in 1983 and carried on the family business as Broker and Owner. He was a member of the Pickaway County Board of Realtors, where he served on the Arbitration Committee, was past President of the Board, and numerous other committees. He was held in high regard by his peers and known to have honesty and integrity. Bill and Carolyn lived on their farm on Dozer Rd., Stoutsville for 20 years. Like his grandfather and father before him, Bill loved farming the land. Upon arriving home from the office Bill wasted no time changing from his office attire to his blue jeans and pocket T-shirt and jumping into his old Ford Pickup Truck. He loved visiting and working with his farm buddies, Warren Campbell, Rusty Foster, Joe Russell, and Jack Noel. He always made time to lend a helping hand to friends and neighbors. Bill had a tremendously generous heart and one thing he loved doing was sharing his sweet corn bounty. He made his “rounds” delivering it often times by dropping it on their doorsteps. He had a light-hearted & jovial spirit & truly enjoyed the company of friends and family. He especially enjoyed fishing at Lake Erie and will be missed by his fishing buddy, Dale Brown. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday June 26, 2009 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Stoutsville. Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Thursday and 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
