William Brungs

William L. Brungs, 77, of Circleville, died June 6, 2012 at Berger Hospital. He was born January 15, 1935 in Circleville, the son of Raymond and Edna (Shaffer) Brungs. He was Past Master Pickaway Lodge #23 F&AM, DuPont Retire Club and former member of Country Strings Band and the Eagles. He worked for the Circleville Police Dept. from 1954-1965 and was retired from DuPont. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Betty, (Sheppard) Brungs; sister, Margie Seyfang and brothers, Raymond and Eddie Brungs. He is survived by his children, Theresa (Rick) Collins and Steve Brungs; 3 grandchildren, Alicia (Jason) Coatney, Heather (Nick) Coleman and Christina (Ryan) Burnsides and 5 great grandchildren, Corrina, Simon, Andrew, Claire and Owen. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday June 11, 2012 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with Rev. William Haddox officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 1-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Pickaway Twp. EMS.
