William Corne

William H. Corne, 82, of Columbus, died November 22, 2009 at Mt. Carmel/St. Ann’s Hospital. He was born June 25, 1927 in Pickaway County, the son of the late Dustin and Bessie (Woolever) Corne. He worked for North American Rockwell for 35 years and enjoyed playing guitar at Westerville Senior Center. He is survived by his wife, Leola (Vandagriff) Corne; children, Mark A. (Juanita) Corne of Columbus, John W. Corne of Columbus, Karen S. (Jim) Barkloo of Utica, Sharon Corne of Columbus and Mary F. Corne of FL; 12 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brothers, John D. Corne of Laurelville and Jackson Woolever and sister, Virginia and Bill of Circleville. Funeral service will be held 12:00 noon Saturday November 28, 2009 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
