William Dale Mosher, age 67, of Circleville, died peacefully Wednesday, June 5, 2013, surrounded by his family, at OSU Medical Center, after a battle with kidney cancer.
Bill was born May 22, 1946, in Galion, Ohio, son of the late Dale and Jean (Brokaw) Mosher. He graduated from Columbus Whetstone High School in 1964, studied engineering and business at Ohio State, and joined the US Air Force in 1967, being stationed in Taiwan, Philippines, England, and South Carolina. He worked at Circle Plastics in Circleville for more than 30 years, rising from molding foreman to chief operating officer. He later worked at Prestige Plastics in Hebron and DK Manufacturing in Lancaster. Bill is survived by his wife, Sylvia (Loader); sons, Bryan (Catherine Squires) and Bradley (Adelheid Trimbach); daughter, Stephanie (Kevin O’Malley); grandchildren, Will and Helena Squires Mosher; sisters, Sandra (Glen) Spangler and Deborah (the late Doug) Wilson; and many other relatives, friends and colleagues. Bill devoted his spare time to city service and recreation, coaching Circleville Little League Baseball and Youth Soccer, and helping to develop Barthelmas Park. He was chairman of the Circleville City Planning and Zoning Commission. He loved golf, Ohio State sports, and his dogs, and he loved his family, his friends, and his work. Funeral service will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday June 9, 2013 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Friends may call from 1-4 p.m. Sunday.
