William Yates

William Yates, 81, of Circleville passed away on May 12, 2024.  He was born on July 21, 1942 in Ross County to Howard and May Yates.  He was a member of Yellowbud Chapel and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He worked for 30 plus years at Thomson Consumer Electronics in Circleville. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Adren (Hettinger) Yates; son David Yates and by 6 brothers and 2 sisters.  William is survived by his children Kathy Chancey and Robert L. Yates; grandchildren Sara, Christopher, Teresa, Bobbi, Michael, Mitchell and Will; great grandchildren Elizabeth, Liberty, Liam and Cameron and by brother Howard Yates Sr.   Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Yellowbud Chapel with burial to follow in Springbank Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Friday from noon until the time of service at 2.  Memorial contributions are suggested to Yellowbud Chapel, 372 Yellowbud Road, Chillicothe, Ohio 45601.  Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
