William "Bill" Acker

William H. “Bill” Acker, 74, of Kingston passed away on September 7, 2024.  He was born and raised in Hocking County.  He was born to Charles Beeman and Dollie Alice Garrett on January 7, 1950.  He attended South Bloomingville School.  He had 25+ years with Circleville Hardwood and 15+ years with Radabaugh Lawn Care.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Scottie Allen Acker and a special son Merle Dillie.  Bill is survived by his wife Cindy (Ray) Acker; sons Charles Jason (Brooke) and Billy (Kayla) Acker; special son Chris Radabaugh (Mary); grandchildren Josie (Kolt) McGrath, Kylie (Colin Roar), Noah, Max and Khloe Acker, Jaysa (Adam) Clary and Jayden Acker; great grandchild Jamiton Stone McGrath; fur babies Max, Tweety, Taz and NiKata; siblings Carol (Danny) Clarkson, Nancy (Larry) Jirles and Francis Eugene (Marsha) Acker and by special friends Joe (Marsha) and Herb (Pat) Speakman, Troyce (Mindy) Martin, Chuck Karr, Teresa Link, George (Hollie) Reynolds, Jeff (Terri) Lambert and Mark Knapp and special nieces and nephews Dollie An (Charlie) Poling, Patty (Fred) Jirles and Mary An Riddle.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville with burial to be held at their property.  Visitation will be on Thursday from 3-7 p.m. at the funeral home in Laurelville.  Memorial contributions are suggested to Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
