William "Bill" Coleman

William “Bill” Coleman, 87, of Williamsport passed away on February 26, 2023.  He was born on June 20, 1935 in Wayne Township  to Ralph and Dorothy (Heeter) Coleman. Bill was a retired Lieutenant with Pickaway County Corrections.   In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Garnetta (Vance) Coleman, son William C. Coleman Jr. and siblings Brent, Vaughan, Loy, Bruce and Ralph Jr.  Bill is survived by his children Chad E. Coleman, Willa (Neil) Meredith, grandchildren Shawn (Becca) Calimer, Bridget (Brad) Smith, Nathan Coleman, Madison (Nick) Persico, Archer Meredith and Samantha Coleman, great grandchildren Harvey, Jack, George, Hayden, Landen, Audrina , Paige, Morgan, Sullivan and Reece and by siblings Neil (Pat) Coleman, Carolyn (Walter) Johnson and Glenda Cook.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023 at noon at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with burial to follow in Springlawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. where Masonic services at 8:00 p.m.    Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
