Willis Pollard

Rev. Willis C. Pollard Jr., 77, of Circleville passed away on February 4, 2015. He was born on October 8, 1937 in Moark, Arkansas to Willis C. Sr. and Cora Mae (Verdier) Pollard. Rev. Pollard retired from 26 years of service with State Convention of Baptists in Ohio in 2004 and pastored churches in Texas, Missouri and Ridgewood Baptist Church in Wadsworth, Ohio. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brother; Don Pollard and sister; Joyce Pollard. Rev. Pollard is survived by his wife, Peggy Ann (Miller) Pollard, son; Boyd (Jan) Pollard, grandchildren; Emily and Zach Pollard and Isaac Fullerton, sister; Judy Shades, step-mother; Maxine Pollard and by step brother; Paul (Caryn) Pollard and family. Funeral service will be held at Dublin Baptist Church 7195 Coffman Road, Dublin on Monday, February 9, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Dublin Cemetery. Friends may call at Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. Additional calling hours will be on Monday at the Church from noon until 1:30.
