Wilmer Longberry

Wilmer “Bill” Longberry, 79, of Circleville passed away on June 7, 2017. He was born on July 6, 1937 in Franklin County to Frank and Evelyn (Boss) Longberry. Bill served with the Army Nation Guard for 6 years, worked for over 30 years at Wardell’s Carpet and Rug and 5 years Arrow Molded Plastic. He enjoyed gardening and hunting and the Ohio State Buckeyes. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant brother Frances Longberry. Bill is survived by his wife of 55 years Patty (Smallwood) Longberry, son Eric (Dara) Longberry of Gahanna, brother Ed (Rosemary) Longberry of Grove City, sister-in-law Barbara Salyers of Ashville, brother-in-law Glen McFarland of Circleville and by several nieces and nephews. At the request of Bill no calling hours will be observed and burial will be in Forest Cemetery. The family wishes to thank Berger Hospice and Logan Elm Healthcare and the Nurses Aids for their care and concern. Wellman Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
