Donna (Richar) Schroeder

Donna Schroeder, 86, of Ashville OH, sadly left us on August 4, 2023.  She was born on February 13, 1937 in Buffalo, NY to Mendell and Virginia (Lyman) Richar.  She was preceded in death by her daughter Pamela, parents, her sister Sandy and brother Bill.  She was an excellent role model, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.   She fought her illnesses boldly all while keeping her wonderful sense of humor.  A registered nurse by profession, she was always the caregiver & always put others before herself.    She enjoyed cooking, playing games, crafting with friends, reading and watching television.

She is survived by her children: Dale (Kim) Schroeder, Michele Lally, Mitchell (Carie) Proper; grandchildren AnnMarie and Kyle (Kelsey); great grandchildren Sawyer, Ella, Roman, McKayle, Devilyn; great grand dog Tank; sister Sally (Mike) Costello; brother Ken (Kay) Richar; sister-in-law Norma Richar, nieces Angela (John), Nicole (Elias), Alicia, Cyndi, April, Debbie, Dawn, Cathy, Laura, nephews Jeff (Anna), Tim (Ann), TJ and great nieces Ashley, Gabby and great nephews Matthew, Logan, Nick and Nico.

Please join the family in "A Celebration of Her Life" which will be held at Donna’s home, 350 East Main Street, Ashville, Ohio 43103 on Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 1-3 p.m.  In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Mt. Carmel Hospice, Harrison Township Fire Department or Pickaway County Library outreach program in Donna’s name.
